Stanford Spezi at the Apple Health Conference
From October 23 to October 25, Aydin Zahedivash, Oliver Aalami, and Paul Schmiedmayer of the Biodesign Digital Health team had the opportunity to attend the Apple Health Research Summit.
During the event, Paul Schmiedmayer and Oliver Aalami co-hosted a breakout session with the Apple Health Data Engineering team on the topic of “Optimizing Health Data.” The discussion highlighted the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders in digital health research and shared learnings from projects leveraging @Stanford Spezi and Apple technologies.
It was inspiring to witness the shared excitement around consumer-facing digital health and AI solutions. We connected with collaborators already using—or interested in adopting—Stanford Spezi, and engaged with the talented engineers and health research enthusiasts at Apple whose work enables platforms like ResearchKit, CareKit, HealthKit, SwiftUI, Swift, and MLX.
We also exchanged ideas with fellow researchers on the challenges and success stories in digital health and translational research projects. Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand the Stanford Spezi ecosystem and invite new collaborators to join us: https://github.com/StanfordSpezi.
